Requirements for AAPM Certification

Requirements (2 Paths) - Each candidate must meet the requirements of: education, ethics, degree, and continuing education along with abiding by our ethics protocols.

1) Take a qualified AAPM Board Approved Executive Course or:

2) If you have 3 years of Management Experience and an accredited degree along with qualified RELEVANT Training, you may apply for MPM™, CIPM ™, PME ™, CPC™, CPRM™, CEC ™ CHRA™, MQM ™, MCP, CLC™, CPE™, PMd™ our other Board Certification. You must prove that you have the required education and credentiasl. If you have a doctorate, masters degree or qualified Management training or experience, apply now for a executive waiver. Apply by simply sending a good faith resume for executive review if you already have any of the following:

Any accredited degree in managmenet or related area.
Any Masters degree with 1 or more years of management Experience
Honorable discharge as an officer in the armed forces with PM experience in the military. e-6 or higher.
Taught Project Management Courses as an Instructor, Professor, Trainer or Professor
Government License in a related field such as engineering, CPA, or contracting and 1 or more years of PM Experience.
PhD in Management, Organizational Behavior, or PM related subject.
Have other related management credentials, licenses or other along with 2 years of PM Experience.
Have any accredited undergraduate degree with 3 or more years of PM Experience
Complete any Government run project management certificate program and hold any accredited degree.
Graduate from any of the below AAPM Approved or accredited programs
Armed Forces, Military, and Military Officers Waiver
Government Licensed Contractors with 5+ years of experience
Departments of Defense: 1) High ranking DoD Civilians (GS-14 and above) who have completed the Program Management Course and received a Diploma/Certificate. These individuals are certified by DoD under DAWIA in Program/Project Management. 2) ALL DoD personnel who have sucessfully completed the PM Course at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) formally Defense Systems Management College (DSMC).
